Building a custom home is one of the most significant investments you will make. Understanding the process helps ensure a smooth journey from vision to move-in day.
Phase 1: Initial Consultation
Every project begins with a conversation. We discuss your vision, budget, timeline, and lifestyle needs. This is where we learn what makes your dream home unique.
During this phase, we also discuss lot selection if you have not already purchased land. Our team can help evaluate potential sites in Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, and beyond.
Phase 2: Design Development
Working with our design team, we translate your vision into architectural plans. This includes:
- Floor plan layouts optimized for your lifestyle
- Exterior elevation design and materials
- Interior specifications and finish selections
- Engineering and structural planning
Phase 3: Pre-Construction
Before breaking ground, we handle permits, finalize selections, and prepare detailed construction schedules. Our Build Experience keeps you informed every step of the way.
Phase 4: Construction
This is where your home comes to life. Typical construction takes 8-14 months depending on size and complexity. We provide regular updates and site visits throughout.
Phase 5: Final Walkthrough and Closing
Before move-in, we conduct a detailed walkthrough to ensure everything meets our standards and your expectations.
